MARKET RESEARCH JOBS IN LEEDS

Do you want a super exciting job in market research away from the hustle and bustle of London where the average property price is advertised at just £211,558? We’ve been recently speaking with a few of our lovely insight and market research agency candidates who were looking to move back home! Leeds is the natural destination for many Londoners too as they happily lived there during their University years. Now, according to the Guardian, a record proportion of London homeowners are selling up to buy cheaper property in the north and Midlands, using profits made in the capital to splurge on bigger homes.

The last week’s the Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Live’ supplement put Leeds City Centre at No 6 in North and North East! Impressive, and don’t forget that Channel 4 chose to build its new headquarters in this upwardly mobile city. Only 2.5h on the train from London’s Kings Cross (I tested it, and it was a comfortable journey and bang on schedule), the city is walkable and full to bursting with culture, thanks to the Grand Theatre and refurbished Leeds Playhouse. It also spurts one of the UK’s most pleasant shopping centres (how about strolling around the largest John Lewis & Partners outside London?) and the bustling Kirkgate Market. Prices of the converted mills and warehouses along the River Aire are relatively affordable (at least in comparison with Manchester), and Leeds is at long last getting COOL!

We are keen to speak with Research Directors / Insight Directors, Associate Directors or Research Managers (quant-led ad-hoc specialists) with a desire to work with fun, collaborative, sharp-minded colleagues on a mixture of eclectic accounts! If you want to relocate or are already in the North (Leeds), ping us about these exciting jobs in market research, and we will tell you more.

What’s on offer? A very competitive salary and fantastic benefits including healthcare, pension, annual bonus, a very generous holiday allowance (30 days hols + extra hols at Xmas), flexible-working, in-house massages, kitchen full of drink & food, table tennis and many more exciting benefits! You will be joining a happy, motivated team who enjoy a healthy work-life balance! They don’t reward brownie points for sitting at your desk, if your job is done, go out on your bike, bake a cake or go to the pub or work your time around making sure you can leave early on a Friday to do this! They don’t mind as long as you’re happy and the client is happy!

It’s anything but grim in North, and you can have an exciting market research career in many of the UK’s award-winning agencies located there plus some dramatic beaches and glorious scenery in the vicinity.
