This post is for Graduates who are looking for their first job in market research. We know competition for jobs in tough, especially in September! Most of us are back from holidays and we all want to be settled in a good market research job before Christmas.

Research Talent Hub are delighted to announce that we have 8 (yep, eight!) entry level market research positions, suitable for numerical and analytical graduates. If you want to join an established market research agency with a global reach and unrivalled career development opportunities, now is your chance!

The roles will suit Graduates who love working with numbers and translating data into trends and engaging stories. You will need to undertake psychometric tests at the first stage of an interview process so practising, for example, SHL tests will be crucial to your success! We will provide you with mock tests and further guidance on how to successfully pass these tests!

The interview process consists of 2 stages so if you successfully pass the tests and impress the line managers, you’ll be invited to the second stage. At stage 2, you’ll have a chance to showcase your numerical, analytical, presentation and client facing skills. You’ll get a task few days before your second interview. Usually you’ll be asked to prepare an engaging, 10 mins presentation based on supplied data sets as you would do for a ‘real’ client.

Sounds exciting? We bet! If you really like quantitative market research and can identify patterns and stories in data, you’d love the presentation task! You’ll be able to showcase your creativity in presenting data (infographics anyone?) and your insight generation skills through engaging content and final recommendations.

So how can you impress them and stand out from the crowd of market research career hungry graduates? Be prepared! Know everything there is to know about the agency, the division you’ll be joining and the role! Think about why you want this job above the others! See our Graduate Entry Into Market Research guide for further tips. Luckily, we have worked with the above client for c 10 years now so will be able to share lots of useful tips with you!
