We thought we’d go for a bit of culture with our selection for this weekend! It’s one of the blockbuster shows on at the moment – ‘Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse’ at the Royal Academy.
The show starts with Monet but as the blurb on the RA website notes ‘Monet was far from alone in his fascination with the horticultural world, which is why we will also be bringing you masterpieces by Renoir, Cezanne, Pissarro, Manet, Sargent, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, Matisse, Klimt and Klee.’ A show not to be missed…
Painting the Modern Garden opened in January and it’s on until the 20th April, so midway through its run is a really good time to try and go, though it’s still going to be busy, so book in advance!
